I like being offline. As I wrote before I’ve had a hate/love relationship with devices for a long time and my first love was drawing.
Recently I bought a watercolor pencil set in a local thrift store and started filling my watercolor notepad my friend gave me years ago for my wedding.
Usually when I buy or get really nice things (like really good pens or pencils or paint or notebooks) I never use them. It feels like a waste to draw or paint anything in them that isn’t really really really good.
But lately I’ve had to throw away good paint and pencils because they dried out over the years..
This made me realize I had to start using my stuff, and finish all of it. Every page, every last drop of ink, every pencil I have.
